By Road
The distance is 315 km from Delhi, and most take 8 to 9 hours as buses move and stop at bus stations in different cities. But public and private buses are available, and there are two different routes to reach the destination.
Route 1: Delhi → Ghaziabad → Hapur → Moradabad → Rampur → Rudarpur → Haldwani → Kathgoam → Bhowali → Kainchi Dham
Route 2: Delhi → Moradabad → Dalpatpur → Tanda → Rudrapur → Haldwani → Kathgodam → Bhowali → Kainchi Dham

By Train
- The nearest railway station is Kathgodam.
- From there, you can take a taxi, private cab, or shared jeep to reach Kainchi Dham (around 1–1.5 hrs drive).
By Air
- The nearest airport is Pantnagar Airport, about 70 km away.
- From the airport, you can hire a taxi or take a bus via Kathgodam/Bhowali to reach Kainchi Dham.
Travel Tips
- The roads are hilly—conditions may vary during monsoon.
- It’s better to start early in the morning to avoid traffic and for smoother travel + darshan.
- Accommodation is available nearby (hotels, homestays, guesthouses). Staying inside the Ashram usually requires prior permission.
